Dalia’s journey began in the corporate world, where she started her career as one of the first female AML analysts at the National Commercial Bank in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry. But despite her success, something was missing. After earning her postgraduate degree in the UK and moving to Dubai, Dalia continued to excel in her marketing career. Yet, the corporate grind left her feeling unfulfilled. The job, though prestigious, wasn’t aligned with her dreams or values. Mornings felt heavy, despite her natural inclination as a morning person. She knew it was time for a change. Then came the turning point. After resigning from her job, Dalia faced a profound personal loss: the passing of her beloved father. Determined to support her grieving mother, Aziza—affectionately known as Zoza—she took her on a life-changing trip to Turkey. What started as a healing journey turned into an adventure of a lifetime. From spontaneous road trips along the Turkish Riviera to unforgettable moments at hidden gems like Gocek, Dalia discovered the transformative power of travel. It was during this trip that the seeds of Dalia Explores™ were planted. The yacht life in Turkey sparked a thought: What would it be like to experience the same magic in the Greek Islands? In 2019, Dalia turned that idea into reality, designing her first women-only island-hopping trip on a private catamaran. On August 17, 2019, she set sail with a group of adventurous women, marking the beginning of Dalia Explores™. But the journey wasn’t without its challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to a standstill, and Dalia faced another devastating loss: her mother, Zoza, her biggest supporter and inspiration. Despite the heartbreak, Dalia pressed on, honoring her mother’s memory by continuing to create unforgettable travel experiences.
